Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Gov. Brian P. Kemp will join Augusta University leadership for a COVID-19 vaccine roundtable at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the Georgia Cancer Center’s M. Bert Storey Research Building.

Dr. Brian K. Stansfield, a neonatologist and federally funded investigator at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, has been named vice chair for research in the MCG Department of Pediatrics.

Faculty and staff from Augusta University’s Department of Art and Design, the Center for Instructional Innovation, the Department of Medical Illustration, the College of Education and The Dental College of Georgia stepped forward and used their unique skills to help battle the spread of COVID-19.
