This year’s collaborative poster was one of more than 2,000 presentations and AU was also one of 100 peer-reviewed to present a physical poster along with their digital copy.
The Advanced Human Resources course is designed as a deep-dive into the day-to-day work of human resources professionals.

“We saw that patients who live in rural areas were prone to have lower Apgar scores, lower rates of prenatal care and higher rates of preterm delivery,” says Bibiana Avella, MD.

During the spring semester, 20 AU students are enrolled in Service Learning in Tax and have completed IRS-required certifications.
Augusta University receives between 70 to 80 body donations every year and provides support for educational activities and interdisciplinary research throughout its colleges.
The College of Nursing hosted two days of community events, specifically providing healthcare to employees of Horizon and adults enrolled in the Healthy Grandparents Program.
Three Augusta University students are serving as Georgia Legislative Internship Program interns with the Georgia General Assembly.
“The mobile merchandise unit is student managed and operated providing students the unique opportunity to be part of a start-up environment," says Mike McAlister.
