Why the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home is one of the best in the nation

The Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home has again been honored as one of the best facilities in the country according to Pinnacle Quality Insight, a nationally recognized customer satisfaction firm.

In receiving the honor, Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home has achieved Best-In-Class in 14 out of 16 survey categories and are in the top 15% nationwide.

The categories include overall satisfaction, nursing care, dining service, quality of food, cleanliness, laundry service, community from the facility, response to problems, dignity and respect, recommend to others, activities, admission process, safety and security and overall customer experience.

“We believe our nation’s heroes deserve the best care available,” said Carlton Deese, executive director of Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. “Achieving this award is a validation of our staff’s continued efforts and commitment to provide excellent care to our veterans and their families.”

Each month, Pinnacle conducts thousands of satisfaction interviews to residents, patients and their families to evaluate them in the various categories. Providers who maintain high scores across multiple categories throughout the year earn a Best-in-Class distinction.

“Our staff deserve all the credit for this achievement and their pursuit of service excellence. We are not just serving veterans, we are serving moms and dads, pillars of our community, and their families, who ultimately become part of the Georgia War family,” Deese said.

This isn’t the first time Georgia War has received such high praise. For almost a decade now the nursing home has achieved the customer experience award through Pinnacle.

“Georgia War has always been committed to a culture of excellence that goes far beyond the care that is provided,” Deese added. “Building relationships in pursuit of a culture of service excellence helps achieve a true home-like environment for everyone. GW is committed to demonstrating the highest standards of customer service in every aspect of our care delivery.”
