
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

A total of 160 flu vaccines and 100 COVID-19 booster vaccines were administered.

Ellen Schlich, a third-grade teacher at Peachtree Elementary, will be the first to graduate from the College of Education’s Master of Arts in Teaching online program at Augusta University.

Shawn Ellis is proudly graduating from the College of Science and Mathematics with a psychology major and sociology minor.

Sunitha Zechariah is graduating this week with a PhD in Applied Health Sciences from the College of Allied Health Sciences.
