Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Augusta University and several community partners recently held a drill to test resources and responses during an emergency situation.

Antiretroviral cocktails can make human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, undetectable and untransmittable, but both the virus and its treatment can also accelerate aging of bone and muscle.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, with 1 in 5 people diagnosed in their lifetime. With new cases of skin cancer climbing, members of Augusta University’s Well-Being program, along with the Georgia Cancer Center, are taking action to protect students, employees and the public from a future skin cancer diagnosis by installing sunscreen dispensers across all Augusta University campuses in Augusta’s River Region.
