Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

“Everyone involved and everyone I interacted with were awesome. They are all so qualified, passionate and dedicated to their work. I learned a lot,” said program participant Kyara Vences.
Augusta University’s Bachelor of Social Work program recently learned it will be reaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education for the next eight years.
“It’s not a question of if they’re coming, but how fast will they be here,” said Richard Franza, professor of management at the Hull College of Business.
“Any time anybody recommends you for something of that nature, it does make you feel good,” said Anthony Hightower.
