Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.
The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.
The event will be catered by Sconyers Bar-B-Que and Rita’s Italian Ice.
This year, the event will span two days, from March 31 to April 1.
“I get contacted by prospective students all the time,” said Dr. Steven Coughlin, interim head of the Division of Epidemiology at the Medical College of Georgia. “There’s a lot of interest in the program, and I anticipate that it’ll continue to grow.”
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and the 2021-22 state legislature have approved a $5,000 cost-of-living adjustment for eligible state employees, effective April 1.
