Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

“I don’t think it’s good to get comfortable, especially as a visual artist. My job is to interpret the world and translate it and spit it back out. So if I get too comfortable, I won’t have any tension that I need to make art,” said Marianna Williams.

“Undergraduate research allows students to both go deeper into mathematics and serves as a way to integrate knowledge from different mathematics courses that may not seem related.”

In 2021, applicants to medical schools across this country soared by a record-setting 17.8%, led by historical increases among underrepresented minorities.
