
Cybersecurity graduate prepares for career in digital forensics

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Frank LoMonte, a veteran legal counsel and an attorney for CNN in Atlanta, spoke about free speech on college campuses during the Future of the First Amendment Lecture at Augusta University.

E. Nicole Meyer, PhD, is a professor of French at Augusta University and is a 2022 recipient of Label FrancEducation accreditation and was recently awarded the prestigious Empowering French and Francophone Studies grant by the French Embassy of the United States.

“I was surprised. There were so many amazing presentations that I attended,” said student Alex Brady. “I thought, ‘Wow, this is amazing research. There’s no way I’m going to be among the top presenters.’”

Augusta University and Amazon are partnering to provide Amazon employees the Career Choice program, allowing them to enroll in courses at no cost to them.
