Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The symposium will cover advances in bone biology and nutrition; graduate student research in musculoskeletal aging; research on brain aging, dementia and neurodegeneration; and collaborative research and funding opportunities.

Dr. Paul Attie and Dr. Bogdan Chlebus have accepted positions as professors with the Augusta University School of Computer and Cyber Sciences.
