Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Dr. Stanton Royer, an emergency medicine physician who just finished his residency training program at the Medical College of Georgia and Augusta University Health, is the recipient of the Walter J. Moore Outstanding Housestaff Award.

Augusta University’s Master of Public Administration program is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary this fall. On July 1, Dr. Wesley Meares became the new director for the MPA program.
As an advocate for AU, she has helped garner state support for the Medical College of Georgia, Dental College of Georgia, Georgia Cyber Center and numerous other strategic priorities and projects.
