
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Dr. Michael Casdorph, vice president of information technology and chief information officer at Augusta University, has been chosen as the 2021 GeorgiaCIO ORBIE award winner for education, government and the public sector.
During the fourth annual Values Week, Augusta University is celebrating its six core values: collegiality, compassion, excellence, inclusivity, integrity and leadership. Wendi Clanton, a student at The Dental College of Georgia, shares her experiences with integrity, which is reflected in accountability, ethical behavior, honesty and reliability.

This event, a new tradition for campus student life, will serve as an opportunity to celebrate students before finals, the holiday break and graduation.

Kai Brickey and Mackenzie Taylor received at-large bids to compete in the championships Nov. 20 in Saint Leo, Florida.
