
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

“Now that I’m finished and I know my story, I feel like it’s one I have time to pass along and hopefully find other younger athletes. I definitely want to get involved and reach out to people,” said two-time Paralympian and Augusta University grad Elizabeth Baker.

Jose Castro plans to stay in the military “for a while and hopefully have the chance to retire after a full 20-year service” to his country.

Augusta University has once again received a grant to participate in the Georgia Young Adult Program. This year, the amount awarded is $16,360.

Blue and Blue Express Routes will go offline Friday, Dec. 10 and return to service Thursday, Jan. 6.
