Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Expectations for change were outlined at the spring 2022 academic leadership meeting, where Provost Neil MacKinnon hosted leaders from across the university to discuss the full picture of enrollment at Augusta University.

Dr. Gordon Chason Miller, a 1962 Medical College of Georgia alumnus and retired cardiologist, has a heart for medical education at MCG.
