
Augusta University announces 2026 Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni
Augusta University’s Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni award winners will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

Denise Kornegay and Alyssa Ruffa are leading a study abroad trip to Scotland to study rural health care next year for medical students who plan to become health care professionals in the state of Georgia.

The Jag1Stop move will begin on Friday, Sept. 1, with JagCard, key control and professional photos closing at noon and parking closing at 5 p.m. All services will return to normal operations Sept. 6 at the Summerville location.

One organ and tissue donor can save or improve the lives of up to 75 people. Currently, 60 percent of the more than 100,000 people on the national transplant waitlist are people of color
