
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Every seven years, educator preparation programs in the state of Georgia go through re-accreditation by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. This year, the College of Education at Augusta University received a flawless accreditation review and a perfect site visitor report from the GaPSC. Congratulations to Dean Judi Wilson and her faculty, staff and students in the College of Education!

Beginning in July, the visitor lot at the Health Science Campus Student Center will provide 30 minutes of free parking between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Although African Americans make up 13% of the nation’s population, they account for 42% of the new HIV cases in the United States. The Ryan White Program at Augusta University is working to ensure everyone has proper access to health care to help combat HIV and stop the spread of the virus.
