
Augusta University announces 2026 Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni
Augusta University’s Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni award winners will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The Augusta University community is encouraged to participate in this yearās Paceline bicycle ride on Oct. 16. Since 2019, the Paceline organization has hosted this ride as a way to engage the Augusta community in the fight to end cancer. Funds raised benefit research and patient care at the Georgia Cancer Center.
