Major expansion coming to AU animation program

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

As the first Layman Family Scholarship recipient at Augusta University, Elisa found her purpose through the Clinical Nurse Leader program and her longtime involvement with the Costa Layman Health Fair. The Augusta University community is encouraged to participate in this yearā€™s Paceline bicycle ride on Oct. 16. Since 2019, the Paceline organization has hosted this ride as a way to engage the Augusta community in the fight to end cancer. Funds raised benefit research and patient care at the Georgia Cancer Center.
