Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The Teaching Excellence Awards recognize outstanding Augusta University educators and programs and determine nominees for the USG Regents’ Teaching Excellence Awards.

The biometric screening consists of a fingerstick test for cholesterol, a triglycerides test, a glucose test, a blood pressure test and a body composition exam.

“The recipients of this year’s Scholarship for Service award were selected from a very impressive group of candidates,” said Dr. Michael Nowatkowski, principal investigator of the Scholarship for Service Program at Augusta University. “We look forward to reviewing applicants for our second cohort in the spring.”
