
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

“It helps high school students see fields they would have never considered potentially before,” said Mindy Mets of the Savannah River Site Community Reuse Organization.

After graduating, Augusta University doctoral student Shannon Barwick hopes to pursue a career in medical education.
