Allan and Ursula Soto have committed $1 million to support the Kisner Foundation & Friends Pediatric Development, Behavioral Health & Wellness Center at Wellstar Golisano CHOG.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

For the rest of 2022, donors at Augusta University blood drives will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

The Augusta University program serves 1,200 people each year from throughout the Central Savannah River Area, some coming from as far as Atlanta and Greenville, South Carolina.

Health care volunteers for the June 3 event provided services to almost 200 McCorkle Nurseries Inc. employees.

The funds will provide scholarships to medical students who commit to serve rural and underserved areas of Georgia.
