Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

“Our goal is to help clinicians become more well-rounded by providing them the tools to better help their patients,” said Jennifer Waller, PhD, co-director of the program and professor at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.

“Over the next few months, our team will be focused on all elements of the state legislative session, to include tracking bills, following messaging in resolutions, and the changes recommended in the state budget,” said Associate Vice President of Government Relations Margie Miller.

Students collect unpurchased food from campus dining halls and redistribute it to community partners to feed the hungry.
