Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Augusta University’s Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni award winners will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend in April.

“We have not done DOT physicals before so this gives us another avenue to train our students to be able to work wherever they go to work because this is a big need. The drivers on the road affects every one of us that are driving. We have to have healthy drivers to make sure we avoid accidents and keep them safe. That’s pretty much the focus of what we’re trying to instill in our students,” said Pam Cromer.
