Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The outdoor pops-style concert was organized as a tribute to Augusta University President Brooks A. Keel, PhD, who will retire at the end of June.

“When I first saw samples of Brigid’s work, it was evident that she had a strong eye for detail, but it has been exciting to watch her develop as an artist,” said Cyndy Epps.
