Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

In celebration of the first day of Women’s History Month on March 1, Dr. Louvenia A. Rainge, an alumna of the Dental College of Georgia, was recognized by the Georgia Senate as the 152nd president of the Georgia Dental Association.

Dr. Sharon Beall, a pediatrician who specializes in the care of children who are living with life-limiting conditions, is the new medical director for the Pediatric Palliative Care and Hospice Program at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
