Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

“We’re creating a whole new modality of work, and while online education been under development for a long time, there’s a willingness on the part of entire university to innovate and think differently,” said Dr. Marc Austin, associate provost and dean for Augusta University Online.

Both sessions of undergraduate commencement, the hooding ceremony for the Medical College of Georgia and the hooding ceremony for The Graduate School were recorded and are available online.

“When I stood back to look at everything, I was impressed. I think anyone can tell we worked hard and diligently on this and we all worked together so well. We have different art styles and are on different artistic levels, but we flowed together artistically and it shows.”

The federally funded vascular biologist has mentored more than a dozen aspiring scientists.
