Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Since 2011, Augusta University has participated regularly in the National Model United Nations and has received international recognition for efforts regarding global health, regional conflict, weapons proliferation, security, environmental concerns, peacekeeping, human rights and economic development.

Over the coming weeks, the college will update its branding and digital presence to reflect the new name.
