Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

“We want our students, faculty and members of the surrounding community to have opportunities to work and learn from individuals from various backgrounds,” said Michelle Johnson, PhD, Augusta University’s Visiting Scholars program coordinator.

Steppingblocks allows students to create their own profile and choose from 24 job categories that may interest them after graduation. They range from art and design, education, health care management and technology, to name a few.

The partnership between the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences and the Military Academy of Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan allows French military cadets to visit SCCS to receive cybersecurity training and education.
