Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

“I think it does help the students get that perspective from some different experts. We don’t always bring in academics, sometimes we bring in service people, but to get those perspectives is important and can have a lasting impact,” said Wesley Meares, PhD, MPA director.
