The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

Dr. Melanie Kitchens O’Meara, assistant professor of performance studies in the Department of Art and Design at Augusta University, along with six of her students, will be traveling to Louisiana State University this week to present the play “Moving Photographs: A Vanishing Georgia.”

Michelle Reed, AU’s Title IX coordinator, said the event is valuable for all students, from freshmen living on campus to seniors living off campus.

“I want students to come into our center and have cross-cultural dialogues and engage in activities to help create a more inclusive campus,” said Karen Mobley, director of Multicultural Student Engagement.
