
Augusta University celebrates faculty commitment to teaching excellence
The Center for Instructional Innovation at Augusta University recognized 53 faculty members for their ongoing professional growth.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Jomari Jackson, who hopes to attend the Dental College of Georgia in the fall to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, decided he also needed to study businessto have a successful practice in the future.

Ghada Omer-Attia began her teaching career as a teen in Sudan and has been teaching language ever since. On May 13, she will receive her Doctor of Education in Educational Innovation at Augusta University.

Dr. Meredith Rausch said Emmanuel Anderson, even when it was challenging, met and exceeded every challenge he faced.

“She is the ideal student and will be an amazing nurse.”
