Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

“Even when I was in high school, I thought, ‘Cyber would be a good choice.’ Then, when I got to AU, I knew it was the right choice,” said student Lauren Wheeler.

“Understanding your market is important. Understand how you compete — is it through cost, quality, speed or customization? Understand where you’re better or worse than your competitors.”

“When I was 5, I read a fortune cookie that basically said your greatest strength lies in aiding others. For some reason, at that time it just clicked that I wanted to become a dentist and to make it a more positive experience for patients.”

Colin Stewart comes to Augusta University with 15 years of progressive leadership in higher education and 10-plus years at the director and dean level.
