Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Students looking to complete both an associate and bachelor’s degree right here in Augusta now have a streamlined pathway to transfer those credits from Augusta Technical College to Augusta University.

Animation student Emily Hogue designed a vibrant mural featuring the pride of Jaguar Nation, Augustus, as part of the rebranding of the Roar Store, the official campus store and fan shop of Augusta University.

The platform is designed to connect AU students, faculty and staff with local and regional nonprofit and grassroots organizations.

Students will have the opportunity to interact with more than 80 employers. The job fair is also open to alumni and job seekers in the community.
