Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The program was originally designed to get medical students to fill the demand for additional anesthesia techs and personnel.

Since being hired as a planner by Cobb County in August 2021, Augusta University alumnus LeDarius Scott has already been promoted, received a significant pay increase and passed the certification exam for the American Institute of Certified Planners.

“Sometimes we see cases where somebody is out there checking handles of cars and nobody reports it. See something, say something is the No. 1 thing. We want people to report suspicious circumstances to us,” said Capt. Harry Smith.

By 2060, there will be around 90 million women in the U.S. alone who will be in the post-menopausal range.
