Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

In the Wild, Augusta University’s official podcast, is honoring Hispanic Heritage Month with a special episode that focuses on the significance of food and language within Hispanic culture.

“We’re trying to make this club free and accessible for all students. We primarily focus on all health care types of fields like pre-med, pre-dental, pre-occupational therapy, so we’re trying to get all the students involved,” said Saad Tanzeem.

Sona Datta, PhD, a London-based curator, writer and broadcaster, will participate in a free screening of the first series of her BBC film entitled, “Treasures of the Indus: Pakistan Unveiled,” at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Maxwell Theatre on the Summerville Campus of Augusta University.
