
Stethoscope gift creates special memory between medical student and sister
The MCG Stethoscope Program was started in 2019 by the Medical College of Georgia Alumni Association. First-year students in Savannah received their stethoscopes July 23.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

The Jaguars men’s and women’s squads are young but have enough experience to compete in the conference this season.

“It is a wonderful event where children can take home up to 10 free books. Last year, we had about 4,000 books donated,” said Betsy VanDeusen, PhD, director of the Dr. Paulette P. Harris Literacy Center at Augusta University.

“When you support the Dental College of Georgia, you’re supporting the advancement of the dental profession in the whole state. Those are important things to give to,” Phil Hanes said.

Craig Albert, PhD, said it appears victory does not seem likely for either side, and he expects it to form into a “frozen conflict.”
