
Precision treatment advances cancer care with new noninvasive technology
Wellstar MCG Health and the Georgia Cancer Center have begun treating patients using the new Elekta Esprit Gamma Knife, a state-of-the-art, noninvasive treatment.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University has been awarded a six-year $6 million grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to lead a statewide initiative that improves access to innovative clinical trials for a variety of cancers to underserved individuals across Georgia.
