Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

“These two visiting faculty appointments are a step toward really establishing deep, meaningful international partnerships for Augusta University based around topics that are impactful to our university, our city, our region, and our state,” said Augusta University Provost Neil J. MacKinnon, PhD.
“One of the good things about this debt reduction and debt forgiveness is that the Biden administration is making some very firm attempts to go in and fix some of the payment programs that are broke. So when individuals have to start paying in January, they will be able to pay a reduced amount.”
