
Augusta University announces 2026 Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni
Augusta University’s Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni award winners will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The Office of Volunteer Services and Community Engagement is now accepting applications for the 2019-20 Augusta University Volunteen-VolunJag Spirit of Service Scholarship.

The Augusta chapter of the American Advertising Federation has recently created a scholarship in memory of a local advertising professional, and the deadline to apply is fast approaching.

“Our police department is made up of men and women dedicated to service excellence through partnerships that reduce crime and create a safe environment for our faculty, staff, students and friends,” said Jim Lyon, chief of the Augusta University Police Department.
