
Augusta University announces 2026 Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni
Augusta University’s Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni award winners will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

More than 250 law enforcement, emergency first responders and community members gathered in St. Andrews Hall at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta Thursday to learn how and why the community should work together during a hostile event.

Among the volunteers this year will be dozens of Augusta University Bachelor of Science in Nursing students from Dr. Carol Hunter’s Community and Public Health Nursing course.

The Office of Volunteer Services and Community Engagement is hosting a $6 Valentine’s Day sale in the lobby of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia beginning Monday, Jan. 27, until Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Augusta University’s College of Education student Randy LaMons and his former classmate are helping future college freshmen with $500 scholarships through their new Be the Change Foundation.
