Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

“It turns out only a quarter of the people exposed to the same traumatic event will go on to develop PTSD and it’s not understood why some do and some don’t,” said Dr. Almira Vazdarjanova.

A variety of services will be provided, including adult and pediatric doctor visits, prescription refill renewal, pap smears, HIV/PrEP, dermatology screening, school screening, vision screening, dental exams and cleanings, mental health screening, and women’s health screenings.

The new BFA in Digital and Visual Storytelling will prepare students to be “cutting-edge visual storytellers” by developing diverse skill sets.

New memories and connections were made at Augusta University’s annual Alumni Weekend. The marathon of events, which took place April 22-24, was jam-packed with celebrations and awards.
