Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Jennifer C. Sullivan, PhD, dean of The Graduate School at Augusta University, has secured a five-year, $7.5 million grant to have Augusta University designated as a Specialized Center of Research Excellence on Sex Differences (SCORE) by the NIH’s Office of Research on Women’s Health.

The sixth annual Values Week will be held Nov. 6-12 and will focus on celebrating Augusta University’s six core values – collegiality, compassion, excellence, inclusivity, integrity and leadership.

In a bid to encourage flu vaccination, the Immunology Center of Georgia, part of the Medical College of Georgia, will host a flu vaccine clinic for Augusta University employees.
