Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Augusta will be given the state’s first Asian American historical marker from the Georgia Historical Society, thanks to the persistence of Si-Long Chen, a graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at Augusta University.
