Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

With one senior, three sophomores and nine freshmen, the Jaguars are one of the youngest teams to compete at Nationals in Pennsylvania. Although younger than last year’s team, the Jaguars are mentally stronger to take on the big stage this year.

Dr. Erica Louden was one of five fellows to be awarded the prestigious SREI Award to attend the Oncofertility Consortium Conference and present her research.

The Study Abroad Office will offer a limited number of Faculty Development Travel Grants. Faculty members interested in teaching a study abroad course, and interested in getting hands-on experience at the site selected before taking students, are encouraged to apply.
