
Pamplin’s Isaac Brinberg named to ‘Georgia Trend’ 40 Under 40

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Dr. Laura Williamson, director of the Center for Bioethics and Health Policy at Augusta University, studies the ethical impact of mandating childhood vaccinations.

Dr. Stanton Royer, an emergency medicine physician who just finished his residency training program at the Medical College of Georgia and Augusta University Health, is the recipient of the Walter J. Moore Outstanding Housestaff Award.

Augusta University is monitoring weather conditions as the effects from Tropical Storm Elsa approach the Augusta area. For now, operations at all campuses, clinics and the medical center will continue as normal.

Augusta University’s Master of Public Administration program is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary this fall. On July 1, Dr. Wesley Meares became the new director for the MPA program.
