Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Ralph D. Turner, DBA, president of Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center, will be the keynote speaker at AU’s Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony on Dec. 11.

“We have worked really hard to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students,” says Simone Hicks, PhD.

“This year, the competition was especially strong, highlighting the exceptional work our faculty are doing to support student learning and success,” says Jeff Mastromonico.
