Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

Nine specimen collection sites operated jointly by the Georgia National Guard and Augusta University ended operations effective May 30 as the university transitions its focus to research and development of new non-invasive testing options like saliva and antibody testing.
The event will have bins available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 1 through Saturday, June 6 at Wild Birds Unlimited.
Augusta University’s orientation has transitioned from an in-person program to a hybrid experience, with the first piece of orientation taking place virtually over the summer, and the in-person piece occurring in August when students return to campus.
