Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.
The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.
“Overall, we seem to be well positioned with our two pillars of our community,” said Simon Medcalfe, PhD, talking about the growing job force in health care support and computer and mathematical operations.
“I chose the vascular biology graduate program because it offers exceptional research training. The Vascular Biology Center boasts an impressive history of being consistently well funded, and it houses a collection of faculty who are well known in their respective fields and committed to the success of their trainees,” said student Candee Barris.
Aenea Clark and Jacob Sumpter have had very different higher education journeys — but both of their adventures have led them to the podium at Augusta University’s Fall 2022 Commencement ceremonies.
“I don’t think I’ve taken it all in yet. I’m just kind of living my life and doing what’s best at the moment and taking the opportunities that are given to me,” said Lesa Wafford.
