
Augusta University names Spring Commencement speakers
Augusta University’s Spring Commencement Ceremonies will feature three student speakers: Steve Jones, Ta’zheara Butts and Christina Waller.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.
The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.
Augusta University and Amazon are partnering to provide Amazon employees the Career Choice program, allowing them to enroll in courses at no cost to them.
The issue is focused on meat production and consumption and the effects of both on people’s health.
“We are taking the right steps, but I’m not sure if we will be entirely able to use green energy, but we definitely need to be more green than we are today,” said Jessica Reichmuth, PhD. “Fossil fuels will eventually run out and are a non-renewable resource.”
“We wanted to encourage students at a very early age to get incorporated and excited about medicine,” said Krishna Shah, a fourth-year medical student and one of those spearheading the project.
