
COEHD Teacher Preparation Programs earn top marks in reading instruction

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.

“When I met with the school’s leadership and faculty, I saw a lot of excitement, passion and energy for the direction the school is heading,” says Aaron Kruse-Diehr, PhD.

“It demonstrates the hard work of our faculty, publishing and presenting research and providing stellar service to the field and the community,” says Wesley Mears, PhD.

During the 2025 legislative session, the Augusta University Government Relations team tracked more than 635 bills and resolutions that would impact AU.

“I had a personal interest because my mother-in-law had a spinal cord injury, and she had really bad neuropathic pain,” says Laura Carbone, MD.
