Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

When you lose a loved one, there are different ways to pay tribute to their memory. For Rita Garner, she’s celebrating the life of her mom by answering the Georgia Cancer Center’s call to raise money to develop new treatment options for patients while making sure their needs can be met throughout the treatment process.
“They really are dedicated to service. If you could see their resumes, you would see all the years of service, and these are not service things that get you a paycheck raise. These are service things that create foreign language excitement with their students and the community.”
Cullen Harper has been able to apply his skills from the gridiron as he works to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Though general registration for this year’s Day of Service is closed, two additional project sites have been added, so if you haven’t already registered, it’s not too late to “lend a paw.”
